How Haulier Link is intended to operate
A UK business-to-business road freight marketplace for vans and HGVs. Haulier Link introduces approved businesses; the posting business and accepting carrier contract directly with each other.
Core marketplace model
- Business users only; no consumer freight bookings.
- UK domestic road freight at launch, including van, courier, HGV and specialist movements.
- Advertising a load does not guarantee that any carrier will offer, accept or complete it.
- An advertiser’s award is provisional until the selected carrier explicitly accepts the awarded job.
- At carrier acceptance, the carriage contract is intended to form directly between the posting organisation and the carrying organisation.
- Haulier Link is not the carrier, freight customer, consignor, consignee, employer, agent for either contracting party, or a party to the carriage contract.
- Freight charges and VAT are settled directly between the two businesses. Haulier Link only charges its own platform subscriptions or feature fees.
